About The Artist

Patricia Burbidge studied art at Portsmouth Art College.

She now teaches adult education art courses in Hounslow.

At present Patricia is working on a series of watercolour and impressionistice paintings, exploring texture and layers of paint.

She often works 'plein air' in order to capture the atmosphere through the dominance of a particular colour theme in each painting.

Landscape subjects include the River Thames, the Solent and Catalan Landscapes.

Foregrounds often capture the textural effects of mud, water or plants.
